A BRIEF SKETCH OF THE ORGANIZATION

The Pallottine Fathers and Brothers belong to an International Religious Society known as "The Society of Catholic Apostolate" founded by St. Vincent Pallotti with the sublime objective that his followers should spread and proclaim the message of love and service to humanity.

In accordance with the desire of their founder, some German Pallottine missionaries came to India in 1951. They took up education as one of the main apostolate and established many schools and boarding in the region of Chhattisgarh. Since then the Pallottines have established many educational institutions all over India, and St. Vincent Pallotti School, Jharsuguda is one of them.

PALLOTINE EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY

The Pallottine Fathers and Brothers of Khrist Jyoti Province, Raipur decided to promote education in the state of Odisha in 2013. They formed a new society named "Pallottine Educational Society" and the society was registered (Regd. No. JSG-1523/14 of 2016) as per the Odisha Societies Registration Act 1960 (Act XXI of 1960). The aim and objectives of the society was to establish and run educational institutions in the state of Odisha. There was a need felt by the people of the locality to have a good school, which would fulfill the aspiration of the people of Jharsuguda.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Education is a gradual process of growth of all faculties. It affects the visible behavior, attitude & thinking pattern of a person. Education begins in the nursery and goes on at school. It does not end there, but continues throughout life. There are many schools, which endeavor to transform the life of children and make them useful and dedicated citizens of tomorrow. One such "PORTAL OF LEARNING" is ST.VINCENT PALLOTTI SCHOOL, Kumudapali, Jharsuguda, Odisha.

SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE

The concept of the school building is unique. The class rooms are specifically designed to help the children feel at home. Education will be imparted here, not merely from books, but also through planned schemes of activities. The classrooms are well furnished and definitely spacious and airy. The society intends to develop the school in a unique way which would be coupled with the syllabus and co-curricular activities.

We form the children to become responsible and caring persons, inculcating in them values of discipline, cleanliness, punctuality, honesty, obedience and perseverance, so that they may progress in life, becoming integrated personalities. We ensure growth in the children; sound in character, sharp in intellect and strong in body, ever willing to help and serve society in times of need. Thus they fulfill the motto of our school:

                  "GO FORTH TO SERVE"

We strive to equip our students with qualities of human values and strength of character to face any odds and oddities in life.

The Logo of our school is a burning lamp, which is highly symbolic of its motto. As the burning lamp dispels the darkness and spread the light, so also the school dispels the darkness of ignorance from the mind of the students and fills them with the light of knowledge. On completion of their education, the students of the school will enlighten the lives of others through their service and generosity.
